Drops of melted wax on cloth,
resists the pouring dyes thenceforth.
Batik is the beautiful technique of wax-resist dyeing in which melted wax
is applied on the areas where you want to create motifs and then
the fabric is dipped into the dye-bath for color, where the areas
with wax will resist the dyes and the motif pops out.
TIE & DYE
Twist or turn, crush or fold.
Tie it tight, dip it right.
Dip in dye and let it dry.
Untie the tied, Oh! mesmerized.
